Denise, one of our Pastoral Counselors, believes it as an honor to be invited into people’s stories and enjoys seeing people reach God’s potential for them in life (John 10:10). Because of her highly relatable demeanor; she excels at forming trust-building relationships with teens and adolescent youth; making a dynamic counselor for some of life’s hardest years.
Denise received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from California State University Stanislaus in 2013. She then went on to receive her Masters of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University in 2016. She has been professionally counseling ever since earning her Masters. Additionally she is certified as a trainer with Prepare & Enrich; one of the premier marriage counseling ministries in the country.
For fun, Denise prefers anything creative! She’ll make anything from baking to making homemade greeting cards; and loves to spend time with family and friends.
