I joined Chapel Soul Care after experiencing God’s help in my own times of need. This birthed a passion to walk alongside others facing challenging seasons and offer the same comfort I received through compassionate Christ-centered counsel. I have a deep desire to see others experience God’s peace and health in all areas of life.
I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling (2024) from Westminster Theological Seminary and completed the Foundations of Biblical Counseling certificate offered by the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation’s School of Biblical Counseling (www.ccef.org). This comprehensive course of study has prepared me to journey with others through life’s varied challenges, pointing others towards God’s hope, healing, and guidance. My counseling areas of interest include anxiety, relational conflict, food issues, teens, parenting, and marriage.
Earlier in life I studied Food Science and Nutrition at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and earned both Bachelor of Science (1999) and Master of Science (2001) degrees. I then worked in nutrition communication before focusing on raising my children full-time. Together my education and life experience have given me a perspective of the whole person and have grown my desire to meet others right where they are in their journey.
My husband and I have four great kids and we can often be found cheering them on from the sidelines of various sporting events. I also love reading, long walks outside, and playing Wordle at the end of the day.
