Aimee, one of our Pastoral Counselors, served on Pastoral Staff at Monte Vista Chapel (MVC) from 2010-2020, overseeing a variety of ministries focusing on families, children, parenting, young mothers and counseling. In 2017, Aimee spent her Sabbatical developing a community care and counseling center ministry plan that today lives and breathes as Chapel Soul Care. Witnessing wholehearted change and transformation among her many clients over the years, Aimee is very grateful to be used by God as a counselor. In 2021 she stepped out of that role to become the full time Director of Chapel Soul Care.
Aimee received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University in 2005, and then a double Masters of Arts in Counseling and Masters of Arts in Theology from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2009.
In addition to her accredited education, Aimee is a certified Christian Conciliator through Peacemaker Ministries; a founding developer of “Tree House Club” – a local ministry to children experiencing fractures in their families.
Aimee is married to her husband, Bob, who is a missionary with Near Frontiers, reaching international students and refugees with the Love of Christ. Together they have 5 grown daughters, 4 son-in-laws, a grandson and granddaughter. For fun Aimee enjoys camping, watercoloring, hiking and cooking.
